I have designed a mystery block of the month quilt but instead of stopping there I will also be including a mystery novel for you to read and solve the crime!
Each month for one year you will receive a PDF pattern for that months quilt block, a few chapters of the novel, as well as links to the video tutorial for cutting and sewing each block.
Every person that finishes their block before the next month will be entered into a "door prize" draw for some amazing notions.
As well for every person that completes their entire quilt top by the end of the year and guesses correctly on who perpetrated the crime in our novel will be entered into a draw for a grand prize package "think new sewing machine!"
We have created a private facebook group for every one to share their progress and upload photos of each months quilt blocks.
Chief Inspector Rochard Mayhew is unremarkable.
In post-war 1920, “Roach” is on the cusp of middle age and irrelevance, and feeling as though his days at Scotland Yard are numbered after a series of investigative failures. The public and his superiors flock to his new rival, the young and brilliant Chester Dawes, and the world or crime and investigation continues to evolve while Roach does not. Roach is defeated, tired and ready to retire with his dignity and live out the rest of his days in the slow-paced English country life of St Annes Court - but even the sleepy residents of St Annes are not immune to change. Especially when a young girl’s disappearance hits far too close to home. It’s an uphill battle for Roach to discover what has happened to little Ruthie Cook and who in St Annes is involved, before the whole community is torn apart.
This is a sampler style quilt that will cover a variety of techniques from applique to traditional and foundation paper piecing. Designed to be challenging whether you are an adventurous beginner or seasoned quilter.
